Northgate Labs is operated by Mazen Hassan, Villa 4a, 2000 Feddan, Cairo, Egypt. These terms cover website work we do for you. They are deliberately short.
What we do
We identify technical faults on a website, show you the evidence, and — if you want — design and build a replacement page or site using your own brand assets. Work is quoted as a fixed price agreed before it starts. We do not charge retainers or monthly fees.
Quotes and payment
- Prices are quoted in US dollars and agreed in writing before work begins.
- Anything we show you before you agree a price — an audit, a screenshot, a rebuilt homepage — is at no cost and puts you under no obligation.
- Payment is due on delivery unless we agree otherwise in writing.
What you need to give us
Your logo, images and copy, or permission to use what is already published on your site. You confirm you have the right to use anything you send us. We will not knowingly publish material you do not own.
Who owns the result
When you have paid in full, the finished site is yours — files, design and content. We keep the right to describe the work and show it as an example unless you tell us not to, which you can do at any time, in one line, with no reason given.
Revisions and what "done" means
A build includes two rounds of revisions on the agreed scope. Work that changes the scope is quoted separately before it starts, never afterwards.
Hosting, domains and things we do not control
We can deploy to hosting you own or to a free static host. Domain registration, renewal and anything belonging to your existing provider stays yours. We are not responsible for outages, expiries or changes at services we do not control — including the lapsed domains and certificates that are often why we contacted you.
If it goes wrong
- Either side can walk away before work starts, for any reason.
- If you cancel after work has started, you pay for what has been done.
- If we cannot deliver what was agreed, you pay nothing and keep anything already produced.
- Our total liability is limited to what you paid us for the work in question. We are not liable for lost business, lost data or indirect losses.
Messages
We send commercial email only with a working opt-out, our postal address, and a clear statement that it is an advertisement. Reply STOP and you will not hear from us again. Text messages are sent only to people who have explicitly consented; see the privacy policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer law of your own country.
