Privacy policy

Northgate Labs is a one-person business operated by Mazen Hassan from Villa 4a, 2000 Feddan, Cairo, Egypt. This page explains what we hold, why, and how to make us delete it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Your name, email address, website address and — if you choose to give it — your phone number, when you use the form on this site or reply to an email from us.
- Anything you write in the message field.
Information we collect about websites
- We check publicly reachable business websites for technical faults: whether the site loads, whether its security certificate is valid, whether it renders correctly at phone width, and the contact address published on the page.
- This is the same information any visitor's browser receives. We do not attempt to access anything private, and we do not log in to anything.
- If a site publishes a notice refusing automated collection of addresses, we remove that business from our records entirely.
What we do not collect
- No analytics, no cookies, no tracking pixels. This site loads no third-party scripts of any kind and sets no cookies.
- We do not track whether you opened an email we sent you.
- We do not buy or sell contact data.
Why we hold it
To contact you about website work, to carry out that work, and to keep a record of who has asked us not to contact them again. Nothing else.
SMS messages
We only send text messages to people who have ticked the consent box on this site or otherwise asked us to. Consent is never a condition of buying anything. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop them, or HELP for help.
We do not share SMS consent, or the phone numbers collected with it, with anyone. Phone numbers gathered for text messaging are not sold, rented, or passed to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.
Who else sees it
Email is handled by Google (Gmail) and this site is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Both can technically see data passing through them, as any provider can. We use no other processors — no CRM, no analytics service, no mailing platform.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and correspondence: while we are talking, and for up to two years afterwards.
- Suppression records — addresses that asked not to be contacted: kept indefinitely, because deleting them is how someone ends up contacted again by mistake.
Your choices
- Stop email: reply STOP to any message from us, and you will not be contacted again.
- Stop texts: reply STOP to any text.
- See it or delete it: email mazen.hs.dev@gmail.com and ask. We will send you what we hold, or delete it, within 30 days. There is no form and no charge.
If you ask us to delete everything, we keep only your address on the suppression list so that we cannot contact you again. Say so if you would rather we did not even do that.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top. We do not keep an archive of previous versions; ask and we will tell you what changed.
